Women's basketball falls to St. Anselm
MANCHESTER, New Hampshire - The American International College women's basketball hit the road for the first time in 2022 as they took a visit to Saint Anselm College on Tuesday, January 11. The Yellow Jackets fell by a score of 68-39.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Hawks opened the game on a 4-0 in the first 70 seconds of the game before junior Kyla Smith hit a three to make it a one-point game. AIC took their first lead of the game at the 7:26 mark when graduate Destine Perry hit a driving layup.
- The Hawks outscored the Yellow Jackets 17-4 in the last 4:36 of the quarter to lead 23-11 after 10 minutes. They extended their lead in the second quarter and led 32-17 at the break.
- AIC came out of the locker room and scored seven of the first 11 points to make it an 11-point game but the Hawks continued to control the game as they led 51-32 after three and won the game by a score of 68-39.
