Garden City, N.Y. – The University of Bridgeport men's basketball team fell on the road to the Adelphi University Panthers 57-104 on Saturday evening. Adelphi was ruthless in attack, shooting 58.5% from the floor and 47.6% from three-points range. The non-conference loss drops UB's overall season record to 5-5.
Bridgeport was led by D'Andre Collins (Newark, N.J.) with eight points and five rebounds.
Joshua Denis (Sr., Brooklyn, N.Y.) chipped in eight points, one steal, one rebound and an assist.
Sophomore Dexter Brooks (Rochester, N.Y.) tallied seven points with three rebounds and one steal.
Up next, the Purple Knights will play their fifth of five road games on the bounce as they head to Waltham, Mass. to face off with Bentley University at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 19th.
