* Roberts Wesleyan concluded its season by finishing third in the NCCAA Division I tournament, dropping Mid-American Christian (OK), 92-76, in the 3rd place contest at Winona Lake, Indiana. The Redhawks led from start-to-finish in this one, riding the fine play of Emily Miller (27 points, 13 rebounds) and an excellent overall shooting effort (52% FG). The Evangels (23-13) fell into a 25-13 hole after one period and trailed at the half, 48-30, and never found an answer for RWC. Taya Andrews (17 points), Lucy Covley (15 points, 5-8 3FG) and Necedah James (13 points) aldo registered double digits for the Redhawks, who pulled in nine more rebounds (38-29) and hit 9-24 from three-poiont range. Jamie Lamb (18 points) and Sarai Rodriquez (16 points) led the MACU attack but they shot 42% from the floor, not enough to keep pace with the Redhawks.
